Sometimes if you can’t see if something’s getting dirty, doesn’t mean it isn’t. If you see the bins need taking out, you would take them out and get them emptied. So, just because you see your water is clear and you can’t see your filter, it doesn’t mean they are clean!
Cleaning your filters is essential if you want to enjoy a clean hot tub dip. Your hot tub filters are there to collect and filter all the debris and dirt that randomly finds it’s way into your tub.
A filter is essential. Just using hot tub chemicals will not keep your tub as clean as it can be.
How to clean your hot tub filter
Cleaning your filter is easy. All you need are the following:
· A Hot Tub Filter Cleaner https://www.lusospas.co.uk/hottubs/Hot-Tub-Filter-Cleaner-500ML-p176896165
· A clean bucket for soaking your filter.
· A garden hose
Instructions for your hot tub
1. Turn your hot tub off (or replace the filter with your back up filter) at the isolator switch.
2. Remove the filter from its position.
3. Use your hose pipe to remove the larger debris bits from the pleats.
4. Use our recommended filter cleaner for as recommended on the instructions.
5. Soak your filter as per the instructions.
6. Hose down again, paying particular attention to the pleats.
7. Allow to air dry naturally.
However if you find you really need to replace your filter, you can find them at https://www.lusospas.co.uk/spaaccessories
It’s best to always have a spare filter. Whilst you are cleaning one, the other filter can be placed in the filters housing unit.
Keeping your filters and hot tub clean prolongs the life of your tub. Happy soaking.
