Freshen Up 

If you haven’t used your hot tub in a few weeks, clean, drain and refill it. Not just for Halloween, but the coming Autumn and Winter months. Ensure your chemicals are stocked up (which can be found on https://www.lusospas.co.uk/spaaccessories) and your Alkalinity and pH levels are where they should be. After cleaning and adding the relevant chemicals, check all is where it should be (instructions for use of chemicals are on the rear of the pack). Your test strips should give a good indication of what’s needed. 

Get Decorating 

The most effective way of decorating anything would be coloured lighting. Many of our hot tubs have multi coloured lighting features and options that match your colour to your mood. Change the colour to ghoulie green or vampire red, add a few fake cobwebs draped around the outside of the tub and press the low jet options for a bubbling cauldron effect. If you can manage to get hold of a fog machine (which are really inexpensive) place this nearby and watch the magic begin! Props such as broomsticks, carved pumpkins with lights inside placed near the waters edge, or even plastic bones and spiders placed into the water, will really add to your truly horrific evening.

Music

Now you’ve set the scene, time to choose the atmospheric music. Most music platforms already have collections (search Halloween Tunes) music already collated for you. Or collate your own. There’s nothing like a Thriller soundtrack to give you the Halloween heebie-jeebies.

Snacks 

The internet is an abyss of ideas, and an even bigger pit of information when it comes to food. Fun biscuits you can make with your kids to Halloween cocktails for the adults. The list is endless. 

Games 

Who can tell the scariest stories or your personalised version of apple bobbling with plastic body parts will ensure your evening goes frightfully well! 

If you have a projector screen, hang up a sheet and make your own Halloween Hot Tub Cinema experience. Play your favourite horror films (age appropriate) and munch on the array of snacks you have concocted.
